Premise
As the academic year concludes, the “Best Thesis Awards 2025” brings together architectural talent to celebrate and recognize the most groundbreaking theses of the year. This global platform is a space for innovation, creativity, and the exploration of diverse perspectives on the built environment.
Objective
The awards aim to honor exemplary architectural theses that:
- Showcase originality and creative problem-solving.
- Demonstrate technical and aesthetic mastery.
- Address pressing global challenges and opportunities in the field.
By spotlighting exceptional projects, the initiative seeks to inspire the architectural community and shape the future of design.
Eligibility Requirements
The competition is OPEN to:
- Final-year architecture students graduating in 2025.
- Graduates who completed their studies in 2024 or earlier.
Participation is strictly individual to ensure every entrant’s unique voice is highlighted.
Team Code
Participants will receive a Team Code upon registration. This unique 4-digit code (e.g., 1234) serves as the order number during payment and is used for identification throughout the competition.
Submission Scope
Submissions are welcomed across all scales and typologies, including but not limited to:
- Small-Scale Projects: Residential buildings, pavilions, and modular structures.
- Medium-Scale Designs: Mixed-use developments, community centers, and institutional projects.
- Large-Scale Interventions: Urban design, public transportation hubs, and city master plans.
- Experimental and Speculative: Visionary concepts, adaptive reuse, and projects addressing emerging challenges in architecture.
- Technical Innovation: Proposals focusing on smart architecture, AI integration, or advanced material applications.
Evaluation Criteria
Submissions will be evaluated by a panel of esteemed architects and industry leaders based on a 100-point scale:

The competition will honor:

- Four Runners-Up: Certificates of Excellence and project features in international publications.
All recognized participants will receive widespread visibility, showcasing their work to peers, industry experts, and potential employers.

Submission Deadline
All entries must be submitted by November 30, 2025, 23:59 UTC.
Submission Guidelines
- 2 x A1 Sheets explaining the value proposition or the design (each PDF with at least 150dpi – Max. 20 MB)
- An optional 1-2 min Video explaining your design/concept (content in the video has been left to the participant’s consideration)
- Participate in teams of 1-3 Individuals (Multiple Registrations Allowed using different Email IDs and Phone Numbers)
- The final PDF must be named ‘team-.pdf‘ (for example, team-1234.pdf if your team code is ‘1234’) and should be uploaded on Google Drive/Dropbox/OneDrive or any similar online file handler with ‘Public Access‘ setting as ‘Enabled‘
- The final video must be named ‘team- | Seek Fanatic Competition #thesisaward2024 and uploaded as an ‘Unlisted‘ video on YouTube (Choose ‘Mark as not made for kids‘ while uploading)
- The content in sheets should be free of any plagiarism (except collages and human cutouts in renders)
- Submitted content must not include any information which exposes details of the participant or the region the participant resides in
- Seek Fanatic logo must be postfixed to the video for 3 seconds with black background (Download logo:Â go.seekfanatic.com/logo)
- Registration must be done on seekfanatic.com only – using the contact information of the team representative.
- Team Number is the same as your Order Number (4-digit code) after payment of registration fees.
Note:Â Failing in compliance with any of the above requirements will lead to disqualification of the respected team from the competition, with a notification email to the registered email id of the team leader.
