The CDW Product Awards are open to Clerkenwell Design Week exhibitors with products that were newly launched in 2024 or scheduled for production between January 2025 and December 2025.

LAGUNA VERE: Reviving a Brutalist Masterpiece

TerraViva launches LAGUNA VERE, a new architecture competition that invites participants to reimagine a spectacular brutalist complex in Tbilisi.

Prizes up to 8.000 € will be awarded to the winners selected by an international jury panel composed, among others, by Gigi Shukakidze (Tbilisi Architecture Biennial), Pedro Campos Costa (Campos Costa Arquitetos), Andrea Giuseppe di Stefano (Arup) and Jingwen He (Perkins Eastman).

From envisioning a bustling innovation center to a wellness retreat, from a recreational urban oasis to a contemporary sport complex or a university campus, the creative horizon spans infinitely, beckoning designers to explore a multitude of possibilities encouraging a multifunctional approach.

GUIDELINES

The allure of an exceptional architecture lies in its ability to inspire diverse interpretations. Therefore, there are no limitations regarding the determination of whether the intervention will be of low or high impact. Both approaches will be welcomed and assessed by the jury panel on equal basis. 

Participants are welcome to propose any kind of modifications to the site. However, the preservation of the original architectural and artistic elements of Laguna Vere will be considered of utmost importance.

REQUESTED MATERIAL

Two A1 panels (59,4 x 84,1 cm) landscape oriented + a brief text describing the proposal (250-500 words);
